How do you take care of a tattoo after Saniderm?
Once you remove the saniderm from your tattoo, make sure to gently wash it with unscented antibacterial soap and pat or air dry. Apply a very thin layer of suggested aftercare ointment 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks, until the tattoo is fully healed (no more peeling, dry, or cracked skin).

In general you should leave the first piece of Saniderm on your tattoo for at least 24 hours after your artist applies it, but no longer than 7 days. The length of time will depend on how much fluid your tattoo weeps which can affect the adhesion Saniderm.
Do and don’ts after getting tattoo?
Don’t heavily exercise the first 48 hours after getting tattooed – at the very least. Don’t pick, rub, or scratch at your tattoo. Don’t shave over your tattoo. Don’t swim or soak in a bathtub until your tattoo is completely healed.
