Whether you are looking to advance in your job, complete an academic goal or acquire a new skill or ability, the Noncredit Division has programs to help in your pursuit of personal and professional goals. Noncredit Courses are free and open to anyone.

Every semester we offer hundreds of online and hybrid courses. Take distance education classes to complete requirements for a degree or certificate and/or to prepare for transfer!

Can you get a bachelor’s degree at PCC?
Earning an AA-T or AS-T degree at PCC guarantees you admission to many four-year universities with junior standing and prepares you to complete a bachelor degree in a similar major at a CSU or a participating UC, HBCU or private university.
How can I get PCC for free?
Under the program, students who meet eligibility requirements will receive one year of their PCC education completely free of tuition fees. Any student who graduates from a high school within PCC’s district and enrolls the Fall Semester after graduation will qualify for the program.
What are remote classes PCC?
Remote classes require students to be online at a specific day and time listed for participating in class activities, such as lectures or group work. Class generally takes place over Zoom sessions. Classes may have assignments which need to be completed online and outside of the regular class meeting times.
How do online classes work PCC?
Web classes utilize an online learning environment where students work independently through online coursework, which can include text, audio and video content. Students and instructors interact through discussions, email, and web conferencing. Some classes may require on-campus exams or labs.
