With the closing of the Island Dragway, New Jersey now has only two drag strips remaining: the Atco Raceway in Waterford Township and Englishtown in Old Bridge. Owner Kathy Demarcky notified the NHRA last month that the quarter mile drag strip would not be opening at the start of 2013.
