Is the Godin Multiac encore a solo nylon?

Prior to buying the Encore, I had tried a Multiac Nylon Duet Ambiance. The pickups in the Ambience were definitely lovely, and offered more delicacy, but the new price-tag for the Ambience in Australia was prohibitive (to me). If you’re solo nylon, I think you should have a good look at the Ambience.

How big is the nut on a Godin Multiac?

It needn’t be the case, especially with Godin. Classical purists are served well by the brand and its 12-frets-to-the-body Grand Concert Multiacs, which have a virtually flat fingerboard and 51mm (two-inch) wide nut. This one, however – the Encore – appeals to players crossing over from steel strings.

What kind of electronics does a Multiac Encore use?

The Multiac Encore is equipped with custom electronics by Godin EPM electronics. This easy-to-use Blendable Dual Source System features an undersaddle transducer, as well as an acoustic soundboard transducer; both can easily be blended with one another.

What are the controls on the Godin Multiac?

The Multiac’s distinctive upper shoulder control area features eight mini sound ports and five slider controls: master volume, treble, mid, bass (the EQs are centre-notched for flat response positions) and blend.

Where does the Godin multi Oud ambiance come from?

Based on the ancient Middle-Eastern Oud, the Godin MultiOud Ambiance innovates by eliminating tuning and amplification issues that countless musicians face with the more traditional version of the instrument.

Is there a phone number for Godin Guitars?

Thanx! My experience with Godin is that that make good quality instruments. However their customer service is lacking. They do not provide a phone number, only email. I recently had a problem with one of their electric guitars and it has been a week now since I emailed them with no response.

What kind of Godin string do you play?

Godin hits it outta the park. The Duet Ambiance is impeccable! I have a few Godins, nylon and steel string, and like them a lot although cannot keep each model straight in my mind. As an aside, here is a video of my favorite musician, Oliver Mtukudzi, playing a nylon-string Godin. Old thread, but same questions.
