What is taught in GP Rating course?

GP Rating is a six months residential course approved by D.G Shipping (Govt of India). GP Rating syllabus includes the combined study of Deck and Engineering subjects. After the training, external examinations is conducted by Board of Examination of Seafarers (BES) under D.G Shipping (Govt of India).

As per the DGS Circular 7 of 2005 dated 17.06. 2005, the candidates who Pass with aggregate 40% marks in 10th Standard from a recognized Board with Science, Mathematic as subjects and with minimum 40% marks in English language are eligible for admission to GP Rating Course.
