If your UK monthly data allowance is over 25GB, you’ll have a Roaming Limit of 25GB when roaming in our Europe Zone. The O2 Travel Inclusive Zone Bolt On, included with selected O2 Refresh and sim only tariffs, lets you roam in 75 destinations at no extra cost.

Why can’t I use my O2 data abroad?
Do you not have mobile internet abroad? Roaming may have been disabled on your device. Swipe up/down and go to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks and enable Data roaming. Be aware that you can only use data without extra charges within our EU zone.
How do you turn data roaming on?
Android. Activating your internet settings: Go to Settings → Wireless & networks → Data usage and turn on Mobile data. Return to the Wireless & networks menu → Mobile networks and turn on Data roaming.
Is Switzerland included in EU roaming O2?

Can you use data roaming in Europe?
Can I use my mobile in the EU? Yes, you can use your mobile, it’s just that now you might have to pay for roaming. Always check what your phone operator is likely to charge you, before you set off. Some providers offer additional data roaming as part of their contract deals – and not just for the EU.
How do I get data to work abroad?
Follow these steps to get your phone ready:
- Go to ‘Settings’
- Tap ‘More…’ under ‘Wireless & Networks’ or ‘Connections’
- Open ‘Mobile Network’
- Open ‘Access Point Names’ – If you don’t have any access point you’ll need to create a new one and skip to step number 7.
- Open ‘3’
- Open ‘Edit Access Point’
What are the roaming terms and conditions for O2?
O2 reserves the right to remove or vary any elements of the spend caps, including pricing. 30-day’s notice will be given by text message if we increase prices of the spend cap you are using. Use of data is subject to network coverage. Data usage is charged in 1KB increments. 1MB is 1,024KB. Charges are made only for data received and sent.
How much does it cost to get a bolt on on O2?

Do you have to pay for O2 data bundle?
O2’s announcement does not mean you can’t use your bundle in EU countries. It states that customers on tariffs higher than 25GB will have to pay a surcharge to access more data – currently £3.50 per GB. Customers on tariffs below that will be able to use all their data as normal and will have to buy data bolt-ons if they wish to access more.
