Are Virgin Holidays taking bookings?
To ensure you can book with confidence we have a flexible booking policy so that if things change, we’ve got you covered. We do understand that the Covid-19 situation remains dynamic and ongoing restrictions may pose difficulties to our customers with upcoming travel plans.
How do I get a refund from Virgin Holidays?
You can request a full refund as part of the options available when you log into Manage My Booking. Once you have requested your refund, there is nothing more you need to do, and you can check the status of your refund in Manage My Booking. Refund requests will be processed within our normal timeframe.
Can I change my virgin holiday online?
Virgin Holidays does allow for name changes on bookings, but there will be an amendment fee. However, is the name change request occurs within 48 hours of the date of departure then it is not guaranteed and you will still be held responsible for the full cost of the flight.

Should I pay the balance of my virgin holiday?
I would pay the balance. If your trip is cancelled you will then get everything back and not loose your deposit (ABTA rules). If you don’t pay the balance you have breached your contract and will not get the deposit back. Pay the balance then you will be able to contact them to move the booking.
How long does it take for Virgin to refund?
Once we’ve received and accepted your refund request, we’ll credit your refund within the normal timeframe to your original form(s) of payment. You might need to allow up to 14 working days for the money to show in your account depending on your payment method and provider, or if there’s a Bank Holiday.

If your holiday is going ahead as planned, you can continue to pay for your holiday in Manage my booking, even if travelling in less than 12 weeks. If you’re unsure, you can delay any additional payments by choosing a new time to travel by requesting a call back in Manage My booking for one of our team to look at options.
